If you're ever driving past North Bay I'd highly recommend stopping by to visit the Dionne Quintuplets Museum. Their birth and survival story is fascinating and their childhood and history makes you angry and makes you want to cry. A rare, heartbreaking event in our history!

I lived in the region for a very long time and had never been. We went prior to going to see the play at the Capitol Centre and I'm so glad we did. The volunteer gave us a great tour of the home and explained the Dionne story in great detail.

I used to go into the museum every year I came up north. But now that it's.moved it's little out of my way. Unfortunately. Is there still souvenirs. I really wanted post cards as I collect them. But can't find anyone to send money to get them and mailed to me.

Who is the Dionne Quints Heritage Board?
What do we do?

The Dionne Quints Heritage Board is a non-profit corporation that was formed to protect and ensure the legacy of the Dionne Quintuplets remains a vital part of North Bay and Area’s history.

Learn About the History

On May 28, 1934, five identical girls were born to Oliva and Elzire Dionne, a Franco-Ontario family in the tiny community of Corbeil, Ontario. Their births were a miracle of its time during the difficult Depression, the only quintuplets to survive more than a few days.
